Can eagles, soaring, worry if so far away is safe? Do eyes piercing the distance; see the dangers, the longing and the heart that cares?
Will they find their way back, be changed by time or prey distract?
Wing's foil parts the rising currents reminding them of the path to the nest. Familiar ridges be not far.       Can we, in love, trust that being so far away is safe? Do vision and the future quell passions? Counting out ways, by fives, I love you. Will the story’s pages together fall, as we, together fall? To live like some majestic birds, on instinct, let separation not part our shared desire. Familiar caresses be not far.     The one I love is a dream, a voice, a picture I see. Like the breeze asking Magnolia pedals to dance, she touches me.
