hi -did you end up getting 3 new tenants to share your 3 acres back in 2012?  i was just thinking- wow- that's 7 years- should have been some new history in that span of time-  I like the fact that you are 2 hours from Black Mountain- I've been there a few times-   Wish I could afford one of the charming homes in downtown  region- then I could be part of a friendly community- I'm in Upstate NY now- so I would have to sell my place - then live in Van for a year hoping something came up in my price range- if I want a move in ready home- ..of course I could buy land with no home for 10-20k and put a small RV  while I build a small cabin- I like the Western NC remote Mountain regions - but would rather live close to a town like Asheville - just to be able to enjoy all the multi cultural music and arts- When I look back- I've never been happier than when I was a simple street musician in the little Mtn towns-  Cheers~! 

Years ago I did a lot of research into it.  For the most part it is a slippery argument of leagle terms that in the long run.......are illusion.  Some people made a bunch of money selling the info at gun shows.  But push come to shove...they couldn't site one case where sovereign claims gave you immunity to Federal or state laws.   Basically, unless you only use gold for money.....you lose your sovereignty every time you use a federal dollar bill for commerce.

Re: sovereign citizenship, people I know who wanted to go this route (don't know if they did) were trying to get out of income tax, as they just didn't want to deal with it yearly.  I can relate; has been a big pia over years.  But think there are so many of us on this planet, there needs to be some socialism in national governments.   I envy Canada, for instance, which deducts from paychecks without the yearly tax bs we go thru; which takes care of all its' citizens health; which kept it's regulations on big business and is having no mortgage problems or severe money problems.   To me, a healthy national government finds a way to balance different forms of governing from free enterprise to socialism to democracy.   There should always be friction and balance of power between these  governing forms.  I use evolution as a model for healthy governing.  I wouldn't declare sovereign!  I need that SS check coming soon my way; and Medicare.
