Glad to hear from you.
We got our first snow last weekend. Was late this year, which doesn't hurt my feelings. Hard to believe it was 50 last weekend and 23 today. BRRR! Mike is working half day today and working outside. The cold weather doesn't bother him as much as me. Yes I am a pansy. Don't go out much in the winter. To work and grocery shopping. You guys get snow there?
Going into Spokane this afternoon to get my Jeep. My son repairs cars and computers. Weird combination I know, but he likes it. I had him sand the frame and apply the same stuff they use in pickup bed liners. It is so damp here, not surprising, living in a wet land and it was getting rusty looking.
Sounds like you guys have been putting some miles on the bike. Good for guys! When you hit the road do you have a destination or point and drive.
Funny you mention the animal rescue thing. Half my friends are in animal rescue, the other half are art people. My best friend has a Donkey rescue. Course there are many animals being rehabilitated and sending on to forever homes. The other thing is, her husband rebuilt Harley's in his younger days. He still has a 58 or 59 Red full dress. It is beautiful.
Yes, you had told me about your parents. So sorry. My mom passed away 4 years ago, and my dad passed when I was in my early 20's. We are short on relatives. I am the oldest alive on my side of the family. Kinda weird.
Well I guess I will end this.
Sometimes I can't get the Rainbow site to work. LIKE NOW. When I hit the send button, it does nothing. I would give you my email but not publicly. Will try another day to see if it will work.
Hugs Micki

How's the weather been treating you? Keeping my fingers crossed for warm weather.
We live in a snow belt and can frost in mid Sept. I have a biggest tomatoes I've ever grown this year. And want to be able to harvest them. I bought a book called Square Foot Gardening. We don't have a lot of level land or dirt, mostly rock. So my garden space is limited. Anyway, one of things he suggests to pinch all suckers on tomatoes so the growth goes to the fruit instead of the vine. Well it worked nicely. Plus, the Square Foot Gardening part was great too. I checked it out of the library first, liked it so much I bought at amazon.
So sorry to here about your tomatoes! I hate it when you have time invested and the bugs or critters help themselves.
Are you sure a coyote isn't getting your ducks?
Did you camp when at the motorcycle rally?
Love that online stuff. It is so much cheaper when you don't live near a city, by having it mailed.
Keep in touch!

Thank you for the kind and thoughtful gift Carol. You are such a light. You warm me by the grace in which you live and meet your changes.
Big warm hugs and kisses to you.
Jezz, I am so sorry to here of your dog passing away! He was so beautiful it the pictures. The only good thing is he didn't linger for long. You have had your share of death to deal with. I am sending good thoughts to you and yours.
What!? Riding the Harley! God it is still to cold at 60, maybe 70. I take the doors and top off my Jeep when it gets warmer. I try to have them off on Mothers day. I got soaked last year though. Bad, still remember. Worst rain storm we had and I had to drive about 30 miles each way. Tarped the top when I got there, and had to use boards across roll bars because the rain was so heavy. I never complained to my husband because he always says I should wait to take ti off. LOL So maybe not so soon this year.
Our winter is longgggggggggg. We got record snow in November and haven't seen the ground since. My husband thinks he's on vacation because he hasn't had to plow or shovel snow in 2 weeks. Thank god the days are getting longer.
Yes Carol, it was magical and unlike Christmas the way I grew up.
My sisters and I are back at base camp now luxuriating in all the trappings of civilization.
Hugs and Kisses!
I love your photos. You are so beautiful. I heard about losing your parents. Hugs and kisses!
