Possibly a meeting of the mind and body could happen . Between now and
early summer we would need to search out some others with a similar interest.
There are message boards and classified ad sites on other Family web
pages. There is the PA/Ohio regional members group. You may well already
be aware of this info . We will see how TIME treats us between now and that
point. Glade you found a suitable home space........
point .
Hey,
I loved the camping scene! I had been looking online for more ideas, but it seemed that the only websites I could find on the subject were Bible-story related. (The Mormons, especially, seem very fond of the medium!) Yesterday I got the idea to check out etsy, and sure enough they do have felt board sets for sale, but I think ours are better! The states were pretty time consuming. I started with the western states, which were relatively easy, but it got progressively more difficult the further east I got! I used a puzzle of my son's to trace the pieces, and originally I wanted to Xerox each piece to increase the size about 50% so I could get the details better (hence, they would fit together better without gaps) but it got too cold to go to the library and do that. Oh well. I'm just telling you this in case you decide to embark upon such a project yourself! (And make sure you have tiny scissors!)
I'm sure your daughter will love it!
Hey, Renee! I wasn't on chat because I was busy...cutting felt! :D I'm jealous you found all your supplies for 50% off, but also flattered that you used my idea! Today I cut a LOT of stuff, including Spongebob and Patric (plus, of course, a Krabby Patty and a jellyfish!) I'm embarrassed to admit it, but my son loves Spongebob! Tonight I am cutting out all 50 states...whew!...because my son loves geography and learned all the states and capitals by age 3 (yes, really!) I will take photos when I'm done, and I'd love to see yours, too! Happy felting!
thank you for the info
Hey Renee, we are a little bit crowded around here at the moment...I am even full up on Couch Surfers, LOL, but I will be on the look out for you. Send me an email and tell me more about what you are looking for!
Welcome Home, Sister. Love and peace to you!
