Hey, how are you up there in Peoria? Did you go for CNA school? Hope you're having fun this Spring!
Hi Heather, We are blessede each and every day. How long have you belonged to the rainbow family? I recently just heard of it within the past six months. I didn't have access to internet so unexpectingly waiting to test the waters. I hope everything I been expecting this website to bring me comes true. Like evently travel with somebody to these gatherings. Yeah, so I have never been to one and what can I expect? Maybe you had something happen to you that stands out. Me on the other hand have had a wonderful year with my issues. Nothing that stands out that a gathering can fix. I have been to festibals before and had a wonderful time. I want to make it a life changing occurance. I find life a bore and we are under oppression from this goverment. I just want to get away from it all.
Don't be afraid to try out CNA work. I started there; found this was something that felt useful and advanced to LPN, then RN. Since I needed to work to support my children, nursing I found fulfilling; and what buddhists call "right livelihood". Of course, creating beautiful things is right livelihood too; I personally could not support my kids with that. Everybody's different; you gotta find where your passion is; and what you can live on. It ain't easy to practice the discipline to create your own work! Much easier to commit hours to a job; and a way to learn discipline. On the side, I worked as a volunteer on various environmental projects that grabbed my heart; learned a few craft arts and created a few things; reared a family. What I found was that nursing paid for all that, so I could follow my dreams without my dreams having to support my family. Following your dreams are Most Important! Mine was a roundabout way; and in the process, I've learned much natural healing; healing in general became a passion as well...it grew on me! It's good to have paid skills; do it but don't let your job consume you. If you work to acquire stuff, then you must spend your hours working to pay for it. A simple life is most fulfilling! You can use your job to finance your other dreams.
Clothes are kindofa toy... not to be taken too seriously. Keep dress-up light in your mind and don't buy to impress. We are none of us better or worse than another; being naked is a great equallizer! All have flaws; all have beauty. And of course, the beauty we seek in another that matters is beyond clothes, below skin. Have fun with style, like for Halloween. Perhaps if clothes are taken less seriously, then it's not a deprivation to have fewer/less expensive ones. If creating clothes is a passion, by all means, keep the supplies you like around for that. If you have the time to be prolific, trade your stuff; or put on consignment so your projects can support themselves. Share what you know cuz more time spent sharing and caring is way more fulfilling than acquiring and consuming. Interestingly, buying stuff is like being hungry and eating junk. Sharing, giving, creating, playing music fills belly and soul like a real meal.
Doubt I'm saying anything new... maybe reinforce what you already know and help you decide that way.
Im glad your doing good! :) You'll reach your goals soon just keep trying and you'll do it! I've been doing good. I haven't been losing weight as fast as I was but im still doing good.
