Yeah man i was there for about 10 days or so, i left 2 days ago. By far the best 10 days of my life, cant wait for some of the regionals!
Thanks for the response man, just seen you lived in Johnson City, TN. I was looking to move my family of 7 to that area, specifically Erwin, TN and was wondering if you had any grass roots info for me on the area. Things like good places to work, good people or organizations in the area. How friendly the towns are around there, stuff like that. Thanks brother, appreciate it.
That is exciting! I tried to get out to TN, but couldn't not find a ride. I figured that if it was meant to be, it'd have been.
"Hobby farm" means that it isn't a main source of income for my family. We don't sell anything that we grow or raise, we only do what we do for ourselves.
Ooops sorry.... uis village is perhaps Hungarian for Bus Village.....
Hey Bro,
Just livin large! I'm up in Madison WI. I was going to go to the nationals but friends told me that there was virtually no uis Village and that it would be a loooongg walk to Circle. Not worth the trip for me. Last year in Wash. was the same thing. Alas....the planners don't think an oldsters village is worth the extra look. Or it's just to hard to find. I'm sticking to the smaller gatherings.
So I'm working and stashing away piles of gold for winter in Florida. Hate to miss the February Fights in Ocala.!!!
All of that sounds awesome :) Yes, good for you! It's one step closer to breaking free from Babylon.
An eco-village is a community that focuses on respecting and taking care of the earth. It's like a commune but more focused on the environment and saving energy, sustainable living, etc.
Have you checked out ic.org? If not, this is pretty cool:

You just select what you would like in a community and it searches the website for you. There are a lot of communities on there, but a lot of good ones that aren't.
I got your message, thanks! :)
I don't really know much about the international gatherings. Sounds fun but expensive, haha!
I left my job and I'm feeling definitely ready to leave Babylon. It's just hard to line up the right thing at the right time, but I'm working on it.
And there was no luck on the ride shares. Bummer, but I guess it wasn't meant to be this year :(
Are you going/ are you there?
No haha i havent left yet, im kind of waiting to see if im going to have to take megabus or if i can hitch a ride. The bus tends to get a little cramped with a dog haha but i mean i should be heading out by tues or wed of next week
Yeah man id be down, im not sure what day im getting there, i wont wanna show up a couple days to early and not have anywhere to stay or get hastled by the cops in public haha i dont know my way around tennessee
