- About Me:
- We are working on 2 farms/communes here in Arkansas. We have 10 rabbits, an angora goat, 2 dogs, and 2 cats so far. We are working on sustainable living. We grow vegetables and fruits. There are 2 of us permanent members on the farms Day and I. Though we would really love to have more permanent members! We have lots of room for you here.
Let me tell you about us...
My name is Ali and I love playing guitar (I have two, so if your a musician come on out and play). I can also play several brass and woodwinds.
I love cooking, so if you stay with us be prepared for an awesome meal! Just about everything I make is from scratch, we even grind our own wheat berries to make flour and bran. I even make homemade cereal like grape nuts and bran flakes.
Gardening is another thing that I love, we have a garden stuffed with veggies and some fruit trees. We are not vegan however but we do base our diet off vegetables and wheat. I hope to have a larger garden this year. Spinning wool is also fun. I made my own drop spindle out of cardboard and a pencil. Recycling is one of my favorite things to do and dumpster diving!! Who wants to go dumpster diving with me sometime?
Day is 71 and a computer whiz, we have 3 computers ATM. The goddess and ancient times is what Day loves to talk about most. You can ask him about Herakles, King Theseus, the Huns(like King Attica) he can tell you all about them as well as Byzantium, Moguls, Rome, Venice you name it! Or talk to him about the different religions and faiths around the world today or ancient. He is sooo intellectual. It is always a pleasure to talk with him.
Day, my dearest friend, and I started these commune together less than a year ago. Though Day has been here for a long time and has owned these properties. Always was his wish to have community. I am gad that I can be here to help with that dream for it is my dream as well. Here at our 8 acre farm we have had several family come and go. We love having people here! It can be lonely when there is just Day and I...Come join us..

Update on the Roundhouse Community

Boy oh Boy Do I have alot to tell...but I will try to keep this short..
We have more members...Besides Day and I we have 3 more
permanent members. And several other family! Just the other day we had a
head count of 14 brothers and sisters!
We are working on building more beds. We have one built that is in the living room it is a bench/bed/table...3 more to come soon in the upstairs.
We have been doing alot lately...

In "The Matrix" Morpheus says everything is illusion. As may be; but even so, the illusion exists, has some degree of reality, inside the mind. Which is exactly what Bengalese Saint Ramprasad sayd 200 years ago. In the same way, Morpheus, Ramprasad, and myself, all exist as patterns in the mind.
