Interesting timing. Although I am heading west, away from my rural cabin, I intend to come back this spring, tear down the cabin and rebuild a smaller treehouse into a robust, three trunk oak.

Peace!  I am really interested in getting the idea of tree house living going again.  I want to get away from all those authority figures, cops, judges, etc..... We use to protest logging with EarthFirst! by tree sitting....

We could use some Old Growth trees in Jackson State Demonstration Forest, in Mendocino County, California.  I know a place where its free to camp all summer long, not many rules, and we could use an Old Growth Grove about 6 miles from the nearest State Highway.  Its really beautiful there, under the trees, by this little creek!

There is a big campground about 7 miles away.  Its very remote.

Are you interested in a Missouri location? How long do you want to stay in one location? Lance's land is in a Pine Forest next to live water.

My friend, Lance, would welcome someone building a Tipi on his land. I, too, might like a Tipi on my land. Many things to consider. (I can not come to this site often.)
