Don Quai

Don Quai is a great herb for women who have hard moons with heavy cramping. It is also good for those who have ovarian cycts and endometriosis.

I use organic Don Quai root that I put through my flour grinder and put into capsule.

I take one a night everyday except on the days that I am on my moon. I have been taking this herb for a few months now.

I used to have serious problems on my moon. I would be completely incapacitated for several days foollowing my moon because of endometriosis. My last moon was much easier on me. I could find that I could get out of bed without too much pain. This herb does not work immediately. It is an herb that you must take for several weeks before you see an improvement but it does work!

Angelica sinensis, dong guay, has many uses. The root tips (dong guey mei) are used in the Iron Hit Wine, an alcoholic tincture used as a balm for bruise and sprain, along with murrh, pistachia lenticus resin, red Spanish saffron, Pseudopanax (Tien Chut, written in Chinese as "Seven Fields"), and tiger bone. This last is illegal now, so pig bone has been substituted, with modest results. This Dit Da jow is the basis for Shaolin training.
