Hi there Old Jules...killer dogs? hahaha, Jake our Dane is so old he can hardly move himself around long enough to lick my new little kitty (Cali-cat) enough. Limo, my Dachshund is the ankle biter you have to worry about...but he likes cats and has always lived with them. He has a healthy respect for them ;)    I am in SW Ohio, between Cincinnati and Dayton. I would love to meet you and yours.

Hi Jill.  I could probably help you out on that restoration if you're somewhere I happen to be, or wish to be.  I live in a 1978 Econoline RV and the parking space you offer sounds as though it might work, but I've got 3 aging cats living with me, and if you have cat killer dogs it wouldn't be a good fit.

What part of the country are you located?

Hello everyone. I just joined the RFG site, so thanks for for having me to your group too.

I am not sure where to start, so here goes. I have five acres at my house, and a vintage camper out back which I want to restore. I don't have the know-how, and am pretty old and not physically capable. I am looking for a fellow, or a couple, who can work with us to fix her up. We have a space you can park yours, with electric and water, and only a few miles from a huge State Park for use of other facilities.  I couldn't pay anything, but you could have a nice place to stay, good company, fresh food, laid back but yet easy to find other work nearby if you choose.

I haven't decided if I will sell the camper, but if so I could possibly split some of the profits if there are any...otherwise I am going to keep it.

I hope that the positive energy we have, will be a good match and helpful to someone out there too.

OH, and if you are coming down 71 or 75 you have a place to pull off for the night too-contact in advance so we can make space for you. :)

to all family, My wife and I are expecting our child in july and living off the grid is something we need to find a way to do asap. How does one have children in modern society and then disappear from the Babylonian limelight especially since were very poor, barely have a working vehicle and its sad to say we do rely on the government for health care and other state benefits. That said, I have no proble telling uncle sam to go smoke a pole but in doing soafter receiving benefits, jumping through their bullshit hoops a few shitty repercussions may come into play. At some point after receiving  benefits the gov requires us to work some full time job, while takin it up the backside from their social workers and their so called investigators and their appointed daycare programs. I guess in all fairness, sure workin that job is a way to pay them back. At the same time her and I will have to deal with their social workers. But, at some point we will definitely want to flip em the Dueces and hit it on them so My wife, child and I can return to living off the grid as we have always done before. So in closing how did you make it possible to raise your children off the grid? Home school? Friends and family helped with daycare? What about Medical? This blog may be long and drawn out so I do apologize but we are seriously in need of some help or advice. As always, Lovin You :-)
