RAINBOW FAMILY GATHERINGS: Unofficial Community for Rainbow Family
may 23 to june 3, at the "ARCH" - near caverns lake, generally the morehead area. exact directions will be on the atlantic light line, I am told. for some reason the directions are not yet available. if you have email for doug or crooked paws I suggest contacting them (I do not) soon.

Thank you. I will try to find the email or just call the Atlantic light line. Peace and Love Brother.
cave run lake not cavern.
directions actually not yet put out, spoke to elizabeth and crooked paws... seems raven was repsonsible for getting the word out but has yet to do so (getting rather timely, isnt it?)... have no idea what smith means by using gps to find a gathering of the tribes, regional or otherwise. but if it works for you...
will try to let folks know soon as I know - better be soon tho cause I am scheduled to leave new mexico to head to kentucky in a week! a very busy week...
if I dont have directions before I leave I will check with the u.s. forest service offices near morehead - betcha they will have the information.
Thanks. I would rather no talk to the forest service though. I will find the directions somehow. Just let me know if you get the directions before me.
don't make the mistake of thinking that the us forest service IS the rent-a-cops in drag. the Rangers are stewards of the public lands and the guntoting cops are not indicative of the Service as a whole. anyway, turns out the Rangers wont know the site for Cumberland anyway til May 25, the first day of the Regional. it is not starting on the 23rd, that info was incorrect.
I was told today that I will have exact directions by Friday and hope to get online to share them before I take off for the east, which will be on sunday or monday (cannot use puter on those two days cause the public library is closed). also was told the atlanta light line will have exact directions by the first of next week.
best of luck to all, happy travels (may the road reach up to greet your every step) and see ya in the Circles in the vicinity of Morehead, Ky.

I am going to try to make it out to just say hi at Cumberland, but will be have to work thru the week. I will be able to come out on for the weekend though.
Well, the closest two are Ashland and Lexington. Ashland is like 60 miles from Morehead and Lexington is 63.7 miles from Morehead.
well, I didn't make it - too far to drive from albuquerque when I didnt have directions before leaving home. but I hope any interested found the directions I posted on the Kentucky Family Group here...
and had a great time

I am looking for gatherings in Ky., Tnn,. Indiana.............please if you have any info ..help. I live in central KY., and trying to find family to meet up with. Blessings, Peace, Love, and Light to All
who are you? your profile says nada, shows nada... I am of course curious. other than the national going on in Tenn right now (near bristol) and the Cumberland that happened earlier, I know of none closer than katuah... but talk to me and perhaps I can help you connect to some individuals.
I am Butterflymom..... my son and his family just returned from Cherokee Nat'l Forrest. Wanting to meet up, or attend gatherings closer to us. I live in central Kentucky, and have another elder that wants to attend as well. I hate that we missed Cumberland. Would love to attend gathering this summer, and feeling drawn spiritually.
