I just moved my travel trailer to Truth or Consequences and want to learn how to pan since there are a lot of places around this area.  If any family is in the area or want to be, hit me up.

That's a deal on the coffee. I have a friend on the Big Island who tried to get me back to help a farm do some marketing a few  years ago. I miss "da' kine" life and will always be a kama'aina!

Hawaiian Gold is the scenic views and the good folks there. I hope to take on all the Islands for an extended stay starting with the 'Big island', Hilo area. October should find me in NE New Mexico checking out the Taos area.Our time-frames may cross paths, I'll treat for coffee...

I hope to be driving west late October and oddly enough, hope to be doing Hawaii, Makaha side, in November or December as part of an extended honeymoon. I lived there for a bit. Not much gold out yonder..

Hey John the Wudman, What would be your time frame for N.Cal.. I have a hangout in the N.Bay area and will be there Nov. ish, unless Hawaii happens for the winter. I have been putting myself in a bind by trying to meet my scheduled times and find it easier to keep the time frames open and get there when I get there. Life is easy, just keeping it easy. I am relocating to Nor Cal and have a friend who owns a historic gold mine. So I am making "Plans To Pan" myself!

Well I wish I had seen this one before I got home. I just spent 3 weeks in Amador County, CA and spent extensive time in other historically gold rich areas where there are opportunities for panning in and around Placerville and Auburn, CA. Will be back in the area around October and am planning to pan.
