Hey family, we have to get rid of one of our conversion buses. Awesome for road trips and camping. Large main bed area, 2 bunks, dinette converts to full size bed.

I don't like that it has to go, but we gotta help a teenage couple with an infant get on their feet.

Hope someone is interested, price dropped to $3000, very cool school bus conversion that must be sold immediately. To good to take for scrap, but may have to :(. Hope you all can help me find a new home for her.Check it out. http://eastky.craigslist.org/rvs/3743570009.html

to all family, My wife and I are expecting our child in july and living off the grid is something we need to find a way to do asap. How does one have children in modern society and then disappear from the Babylonian limelight especially since were very poor, barely have a working vehicle and its sad to say we do rely on the government for health care and other state benefits. That said, I have no proble telling uncle sam to go smoke a pole but in doing soafter receiving benefits, jumping through their bullshit hoops a few shitty repercussions may come into play. At some point after receiving  benefits the gov requires us to work some full time job, while takin it up the backside from their social workers and their so called investigators and their appointed daycare programs. I guess in all fairness, sure workin that job is a way to pay them back. At the same time her and I will have to deal with their social workers. But, at some point we will definitely want to flip em the Dueces and hit it on them so My wife, child and I can return to living off the grid as we have always done before. So in closing how did you make it possible to raise your children off the grid? Home school? Friends and family helped with daycare? What about Medical? This blog may be long and drawn out so I do apologize but we are seriously in need of some help or advice. As always, Lovin You :-)

Camping can be so amazing in Colorado. It's March 9th and it is snowing on the high desert plains and so I'm thinking it's even worse in the mountains above 6,000 ft. I usually don't head into the mountains to camp until ~July. Anyone else a Rocky Mountains camping fan?

Okay I've set a date for a Oklahoma Area Family get together. It will be the weekend of May 24 at Billy Creek Recreation Area in Muse, OK. If you want to know more feel free to check out my FaceBook page Janis the VW Magic Bus. Just a time of fellowship and get to know other Family around so that we might be able to network, fellowship and just become a true close family! No set events or tight rules. Just be loving, peaceful and welcoming. Always, an open mind and heart is a MUST! If there are any bands that would like to show up feel free and come on! Can't afford to pay ya in nothing but love. Or if you play something, besides the radio like me lol, feel free to bring stuff with ya. Maybe we can do a jam or something groovy like that. If you have kids feel free to bring them but remember it's an adult and family get together. Maybe we can do a kids camp area. I'll go check it out and see how much room that we have there. Also if anyone would like to do a community kitchen feel free to holler. I have all kinds of cooking stuff that we can use for a large group. I'll pay for the shelter that we can use it for the weekend. I think there might be a charge for camping spots but it's a primative camping area so remember if you bring a camper there may not be anywhere to plug in at.

Camping is always better with family there. Going to be in the green mountain national forest this summer, if any other family will be around there!
