Today I Dance, I Sing and Pray

hi all.  I don't understand and/or forgot how one is supposed to begin a new discussion or share a writing or information here in these forums... but I recently wrote a Poem-Prayer that I want to share with all my extended family:

Today I Dance, I Sing and Pray

O Great Creator, Father Sky, HaShem, the Name
embodiment of all Mercy
I come before you in a humble manner
and offer you this sacred song.

With tears in my eyes I dance and I speak
to the powers of Creation, to Grandfather Sun,
to Grandmother Moon, to Mother Earth and to all My Relations.

I pray for all those who walk, crawl, fly, and swim,
seen and unseen, heard and listening
I sing too to the good spirits that exist in every part of Creation.
I pray for the messengers u have scattered among us,
for the women who accept the seed of generations
women who bleed in cycles of Respect and tearful pain.

I ask that you bless our mothers, families, friends,
the young and the gray elders, the men at their prime,
those at war overseas for the White Eyes in Washington and
My brothers and sisters at war in the city streets and alleys
chanting songs of praise and wonderment
in prisons where they cannot drink from the burning bottles of firewater
but also cannot smoke of the sacred pipe.

I pray for the ones who are sick on drugs and alcohol
those whose memory of childhood abuse cause them to relive their pain again and again.

I sing and I dance for those who are homeless with little hope.
I pray for peace among the races, I sing and dance
traditional ceremonial songs of humankind's birth and death.

I dance and I sing for the women whose pain makes sacrifice
out of their very love and awe.

May there be good health and healing for this Earth,
May there be Beauty above me, May there be Beauty below me,
May there be Beauty around me, May there be Beauty inside me,

I ask that the warriors of this world be filled with Peace
I ask that all the women be filled with Love

and I ask that all My Relations know Beauty forever.
