Mid- West Rainbow Gathering of the Tribes 2010....

IOWA....

MAY 1st – 31st....

 ....

 ....

As above so below. It has come to my attention though various council and conversations that the manifestation of the Mid – West Rainbow Gathering of the Tribes is a critical
event for the progresses of our movement toward the 5th world.....

 ....

The Mid-West being the center of the North America is the main crossroad of our continent. A spring mid-west gathering will provide a great hopscotching point while in route to
nationals. Be the national be in the east or west, the mid-west is the half
waypoint.....

 ....

There is a great deal of energy put into the orchestration of gatherings in the mid-west. In a sense, we are bottle rocket without a stick. Gatherings seem to spring up frequently but
at random times, and they start and end before information has had a chance to
reach people. This must change because all should be welcome to attend.....

 ....

The Mid-West is in dire need of the rainbow and its cause. The land is being consumed by larger
agricultural corporations that rape the land, by spraying pesticides
and
nitrates that poising rivers creating 'The Dead Zone' at the base of
the Mississippi River in the Gulf of Mexico. These operations only
benefit a few.....

 ....

A great deal of progress has been made in orchestration of world gatherings and gathering in other nations. Although this is of great importance and a great cause it’s important
to remember that as we put forth efforts to extend the cause upward, we must
also put forth the equal efforts down into our roots. As above so below.....

 ....

STEPHEN’S FOREST....

 ....

Stephens State Forest is located in south-central Iowa and is divided into seven units totaling over 15,000 acres. The forest is dispersed over five counties: Lucas, Clarke,
Monroe, Appanoose and Davis.....

 ....

In 2009 300+ gathered in a small meadow of Stephens Forest for over 2 weeks. Orders came form the top of the forest service to be excepting of the Rainbows. Forest Service member
visited the site and welcomed us with open arms and handed out cigarettes to
nicotine starved smokers. An artesian well located on private property,
adjacent to the site was used for drinking water. (The property was owned by a
member of the Forest Service this was seen as a great gesture of peace.)For the
most of the gathering the forest service was nonexistence.....

 ....

One evening “Cirrus Minor,” a local rock band arrived at the gathering equipped with a light show and generator. Rainbow’s asked that they not burn fossil fuels in the woods.
They set up in the parking lot, which attracted the attention of a passing by
law enforcement officer who stopped to investigate. “Welcome Home” some one
yelled. The cope responded “This is not my F***ing home” He was not so much mad
as he was completed baffled as to why a rock bank had suck a big productions in
the middle of the woods. He said they might need to turn it down if some one
complains and then left the gathering.....

All in all the local community greeted us with open arms.....

 ....

We counseled and decided to return a year later, this time for an entire month. The attendants were from all over the country, and the world, so we
thought we might as well make this the mid-west regional for 2010.....

 ....

Since that time communications have been made with tribes in Nebraska, Missouri, Illinois and Minnesota and we have yet to encounter anyone opposed to the idea. A new
site with water free of field run off, two meadows and a mediums sized stream
have been located. Several beautiful stones were found on site including a
geode, iron pirate, quartz, amethyst, and tiger’s eye. ....

MID-WEST RAINBOW GATHERING OF THE TRIBES....

IOWA

 ....

May. 1st -31st 2010....

 ....

COUNTY OF LUCAS, STATE OF IOWA, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA....

 ....

(From Ancient Native Peoples' Prophecies) ....

"When the Mother Earth is sick and the animals dying there will come a Tribe of Peoples from all Cultures who believe in deeds, not words, and they will
restore the Mother Earth to her former beauty. ....

This Tribe will be called, The Warriors of the Rainbow."....

 ....

We invite all peoples dedicated toward the healing of the Mother Earth and sharing peace with all Peoples to attend the Mid-West Rainbow Gathering of the Tribes in the
County Lucas, State of Iowa, United State of America.....

 ....

This Gathering would like to request to all those who will be coming, and who are involved in active projects, to bring exhibits and create workshops to share.
All projects working towards the objectives of achieving world peace and the
restoration of our home planet are more than welcomed to present your visions
and the realities which your efforts have managed to achieve.....

 ....

For more information on Rainbow Gatherings and how they work please go to www.welcomehere.org and follow the links to the various aspects. The Rainbow Guide section is particularly informative.
We are all volunteers and all aspects of the needs of this event need
assistance. This includes all Gathering preparations work & networking, as
well as putting together all life support needs for the community which the
Gathering becomes as it evolves.....

 ....

The one event planned is to be an hour Circle of Silence for World Peace and the Healing of the Mother Earth. This will take place at high noon on the 31st of
may During this hour all who participate will silently think, pray, meditate
and feel in their beings the complete desire to know and be part of the change
which must take place. Dedicating themselves to carrying this with them the
full intent of being living examples of our deepest dreams and visions.....

This is not anything that political, religious or social leaders can dictate, but rather a choice to be made by each person to accept personal responsibility to bring
about a new age that strives to co-create the future we all wish to see and
know as living parts of the realities.....

 ....

During this month long event Councils, free for the participation of all attending, are encouraged so that groups and networks will be formed that will integrate the
best that we can all present so that we can weave together the finest and best
approaches towards achieving an Era of Enlightenment where genuine deeds can be
co-created that will deal with all of the needs of humanity and all species.....

 ....

We all know, only too well, the problems which we face around the wid-west today, but dwelling on those is not the objective of these Councils. The objectives being
the finding and presenting of the solutions to them so that we can set clear
paths towards co-creating positive alternatives via viable means to resolve the
problems.....

 ....

Further encouraged at all events will be the celebrations of all of the arts: Graphic, Musical, Theater, Performing Arts of all styles and forms. Presentations of
cultural garments, foods, beverages (We request that alcohol and hard drugs not
be included in any aspects of these events), ceremonies & cultural
histories. We welcome appropriate, portable and natural materials, living
habitats such as Tipis, Yurts, Longhouses, Palapas, Wicci-ups and shelters used
by all traditional cultures.....

Direction to the location will be release one month before the Gathering at:

The gathering is still happening. Stephen's Forest is a state forest so the rules are a little different than in a national forest. So follow the rules, respect the community, and everything will be okay. Silent Circle for World Peace May 31st. Peace N Luv....
if you wanna hide deep in the woods off the trails and no creek or water there was a truck with water but only at times. and the rules are stay hid out and dont let dnr know your there and only 2 campsites and only 6 people per site so that means 12 dont have to hide. i was very upset with how all this went down. i am not a trouble maker i just dont belive this is a good gathering. ill be hoping to see all at nationals

Guerrilla Gardening and Urban Foraging

Last spring started a garden on church property up the street. No fences, no poisons, no problems. Planted extra for the rabbits and gophers, coyotes even got some meals in. Learned many tricks and created new. Lots of good produce to share.See More
