@ Melissa.  the annual gatherings always run from July 1st through July 7th with people arriving to set up and staying to clean up for a good 2 weeks at either end. so folks are still there disappearing every trace of the thousands who gathered. there are regional gatherings in many states and nations that occur sporadically.  check with your local Light-line and at WelcomeHome.org to find out about more.  get on the several rainbow lists and, I guess, the facebook discussions.

Was told this gathering would last a couple weeks.. now told its over...wanted to go but now not sure if anything is still going on. Anyone know?

Howdy Ya'll...from Bristol,Tenn. the road home!From da north or...? @ Bristol,Hwy. #421 East off I-81....about a dozen miles 2 #44 (state rd.) turn right,head 2 hickory tree gas station,get on flatwoods rd. 2 home. ORRR.....Busses and large vehicles R Encouraged to not turn onta #44 but continue on east on Hwy.#421...2 Camp Town Howard Rd/ Denton Valley Rd. Turn Right on Tom Howard, go south about 9 miles past Oak Campground; you are HOME! The trails 2 main circle are long...bring anti-bug juice,and sunscreen! see ya @ Info!....Roadrunner & Bingo.....

I wont be able to attend the big Annual June-July Gathering this year due to mother's skin cancer... but do plan to take a week or so off and attend the Cumberland Regional may 25- june 3rd.  coming home!  yay.

1976.  new mexico was my 1st. outside truth and consequences.  remember the watermelons taking the wet route because we couldnt possibly carry that many in for the 4th! went with other folks in my extended family, the Key West Gypsy Traders and Rainbow became my hugest, most permanent extended family... I hope to dance around the Peace Pole with all my relations again, soon.
