In 1965 Dr. Peter Witt gave drugs to spiders and observed their effects on web building. This short film about the results of the experiment was created by First Church Of Christ, Filmmaker.

I read about a drug study on spiders,that was done not by swabbing the spider,but,administered via blowing smoke,in the case of marijuana,and smoked power coke and smoked powder speed.Not sure if/how alcohol was tested on them.There are actual webs in existance showing how the spiders were affected.I bet I have the details buried in an old email somewhere....
