BEAUTIFUL BEYOND DESCRIPTION
A ROSE OF SUCH DEEP COLORS
IT TOOK MY BREATH AWAY
SO CAREFULLY I CHOSE THIS FLOWER
AND PLACED IT IN A GLASS
SO THE MEMORY WOULD ALWAYS LAST
EACH DAY I WATCHED IT OPEN
UNFOLD EACH PETAL FOR ME
THERE ON THE SHELF
DISPLAYED FOR ALL TO SEE
ALL OTHERS SAW WAS A FLOWER
LIKE A THOUSAND OTHER FLOWERS
THEY DIDN'T SEE HER TAME ME
THEY DIDN'T KNOW WE'D FALLEN IN LOVE

MY HEART BEGAN TO RUN
TO JUMP TO SKIP TO SOAR TO FLY
BECAUSE OOOO THOSE EYES

BUT THOSE TIGHT JEANS
WERE WHERE IT WAS AT
HIS BOOTS MATCHED HIS HAT
AND HIS SMILE MADE THINGS CLICK

I saw him in the distance
just coming over the hill
it could have been just yesterday
for I remember still
my thumb was up
cars went by
I knew they'd stop
I needed a ride
there he came
all alone
on that bike
that was his home
we rode for quite a distance
more than a mile or two
but I never learned too much
about this biker Blue
then as quickly
as he rode in
