Edible Forest Gardens - We Can Feed The Future

When the oil runs out the stores will be empty. What and how will you eat and stay healthy? By growing a forest where almost everything around you is food. Find out how here..

VISION

Picture yourself in a forest where almost everything around you is food. Mature and maturing fruit and nut trees form an open canopy. If you look carefully, you can see fruits swelling on many branches—pears, apples, persimmons, pecans, and chestnuts. Shrubs fill the gaps in the canopy. They bear ras… Continue

Who are the REAL mis-fits?

Misfit is the label given by society to those humans who don’t match the criteria for ‘normal’ behavior, beliefs and desires.

Most so-called ‘normal’ people accept if they are to sport the ‘normal’ badge, they will be required to shape themselves into psychological, career and social boxes that we know deep down are not contoured to the freedom, spontaneity and genuine expression of the individual spirit.

The ‘normal’ illusion versus reality

In other words to become normal wiContinue

Harmonic Emergence

The Time is Now

When we moved out here to the edge of the Cohutta wilderness we knew we were
enacting the first stages of a vision , a dream of a better world through the
emergence of an indigenous consciousness in the mankind leading to a simpler
more earth-bound way of living.

Sounds grand, but like all visions they begin with getting off our backsides and
just doing stuff, sometimes not even knowing why, just because it feels right.

We felt the calling to go hang out in the forests on the… Continue

Feelings of the Land

Has Land Got Feeling?

I have been on an earthly mission for most of my life.

I have always known somehow that the land is precious. I spent my childhood years hanging out on the reservation, in the forests and mountains. I have lived in the forest many times over the years. My experience has shown me over and over that the earth is my natural home as it is for all of us.

And NOW after spending twenty years in the asphalt jungle, I know that the time has come to go home to Ma – to Return to Ea… Continue

If We Don't, Who Will?

Someone who just joined a group we are in wrote something that really summed up what is going on today...deep in the hearts of most of us.

"I would love nothing more than to feel what life is supposed to feel
like. Western society is suffocating my soul. To the woods! "

It's likely, given the current economic situation in most of the western world, that the dream of a nice house in the suburbs, a steady job, good income, stores full of food, a car or two in the driveway and a solid pension is… Continue

The Last American Man

In her novel, The Last American Man, Elizabeth Gilbert explores the fascinating true story of Eustace Conway, who left his comfortable suburban home at the age of seventeen to move into the Appalachian Mountains, where for the last twenty years he has lived, making fire with sticks, wearing skins from animals he trapped, and living off the land.

a dream for the earth

Martin Luther King had a dream to set his people free and take them home to the promised land. He didn’t know HOW he only knew that the call was real and that he had no choice other than to follow his instincts. And he also knew that what he did would have an effect on the world for generations to come and it has.

Profile Information

About Me:
Pierre was born in the late 50’s into a fourth generation working class pioneer family in Western Montana. His genetic roots are Native American, French and German.

Growing up in the great outdoors and spending time on the nearby reservation, he developed an ingrained passion for the earth, a more indigenous way of living and all nature related activities.

At the age of 12 Pierre wrote a prize-winning poem about the plight of the earth at man’s hands.

From that time, he has been a life long seeker after spiritual truth. He begun by exploring and practicing yoga, aikido, shamanism, dance, drama, indigenous traditions, religious history, spiritual schools of thought, esoteric arts and ancient mythology.

He believes that spiritual growth doesn’t come from knowledge but from life experience and the practice of self awareness and the willingness to work on oneself.

After apprenticing to a mentor for five years, in his early twenties he took off for three years hitchhiking across the country looking for answers. He endeavors to live his life as an act of love for God, The Force, The Greater Than Self.

Pierre works with individuals and large groups facilitating them to be more present, live a more purposeful life and take care of the planet. He is a skilled sweat lodge facilitator, orator, woodsman and also uses his vast collection of DVDs as a tool for what he calls ‘film therapy’.

He is a talented costumier, craftsman and artist who has been using digital graphic technology and animation since is inception in the early 90’s.

Pierre has created web portals for a variety of industries and individuals and designed the Creative Life Foundation web portals. His graphic design website can be found at Metavergence.Com.

Pierre also designs and hand crafts one off Pathfinder Light Sticks [an illuminated walking stick] which can be found in their store on Enlightenment Technology.com.

His favorite movies amongst thousands that he loves are Brazil, AI and Hudsucker Proxy.

He also has a large book collection that includes a number of rare esoteric texts.

Pierre is the father of two sons aged 13 and 11 and has been married to Sunny for two years.

Hi, Brother! I think that your profile is GREAT! I am not part Native American yet when I lived in the middle of an old-growth forest up north I foraged for or grew nearly all of my own food and even used the same techniques and same varieties of the Three Sisters that the Native Americans did in the area hundreds of years before. They really knew what they were doing! It is a shame that some of our European ancestors came over here messed things up and did so much damage. Anyway, I think that your profile is great. That is also a nice area in which you live. My father lives just over the North Carolina border from you and I love it up there. Peace! Mike

Hello! and welcome to the family! I feel a kindred spirit in you. I too have traveled a path of enlightenment most of my life and believe that life experience, soul searching(spirit walks) and knowledge learned from these things brings enlightenment. I am an artist and wood crafter among other things. I have a strong connection with the Native American spiritual path, tho I follow no particular spiritual path..just a love for Mother Earth and her inhabitants. I look for to sharing experiences with you. Namaste'
