I am just here to meet and keep in touch with my like-minded brothers and sisters!
I enjoy nature and the outdoors very much and feel very strongly about the plight of threatened and endangered species, imperiled ecosystems and in preserving the environment for future generations.
I live ten miles from town in a very rural area virtually surrounded by state forests, parks, lakes, nature preserves and orange groves. I regularly see all sorts of interesting animals here and there is even a Florida panther crossing sign up on the road that covers my property!
I live a simple life here in harmony with nature and I grow most of my own food outdoors and in several greenhouses. Although I am still connected to the grid, I also produce much of my own electricity using photovoltaic cells and a thermal siphon solar collector that I built provides plenty of hot water. : )

There are many like minded ppl in this area but the good old boys seem to do everything in there power to keep us from converging for one positive cause.. love and peace... my kids support my beliefs and always have other than that in this tiny town I am the enviromentalist outcast. The joke and yell things like hey sister tree frog OD die then u will make this world a better place. Isn't that crazy cruel? I kill em with kindness and pray to high powers to be they gain insight and learn ignoorance is not the way to giving our chideren a healthy future...

I don't eat meat I am who I am unfortunalty most ppl in these small towns label me as a "tree hugger" a degrogitory term to these colose minded folks who have obviously never seen the light... if only the world would attend just 1 gathering... myths could be dispelled and ppl would see feel and be loved reguardless. U can't leave a gatering without ur soul being touched... I woke up one morning and it seems most the ppl in my parts r stuck in the rut of soceities judgments on ppl who may look or simply believe differently than they do.. I pray my rainbow parnter is out there someplace??

Have you heard of any post gathering ... gatherings going on out west? I've been looking for info about something in Montana or Wyoming to send to my wandering poet Iszzy Roll. There may be something coming up on the border with Canada ... just curious if you know anything ...

Hi Mike!!I'm not sure where I'm going or where I will end up.I do know I'm ready to get out of florida for a while.I really wanna go to Nationals in WA but a part of me wants to go back my NY family!!Where in NY?I spent a season in 09 upstate and had an EPIC experience and would really like to go back but then a big part of me wants to go somewhere we have never been!So IDK...I likes what you had to say about yourself,I really want to live off grid and be totally self sustainable(((dreaming)))I have seen Heartsongpeacevillage and they are really pulling at my heart,I think I might have to stop in there to see whats going on there,seems to be really what I would be looking for.Soooo...write back soon...:-)
