Interesting timing. Although I am heading west, away from my rural cabin, I intend to come back this spring, tear down the cabin and rebuild a smaller treehouse into a robust, three trunk oak.

peace brother cloud , sounds like a great place. thank you for caring for the  old growth trees. wishing I could find a place like that in or around mo.

Peace!  I am really interested in getting the idea of tree house living going again.  I want to get away from all those authority figures, cops, judges, etc..... We use to protest logging with EarthFirst! by tree sitting....

We could use some Old Growth trees in Jackson State Demonstration Forest, in Mendocino County, California.  I know a place where its free to camp all summer long, not many rules, and we could use an Old Growth Grove about 6 miles from the nearest State Highway.  Its really beautiful there, under the trees, by this little creek!

There is a big campground about 7 miles away.  Its very remote.

Whsst do you think?

Peace and Love, Brothers and Sisters!

peace Im not really  looking for a place  as much as I would be looking for a   tribe. I saw your I c blog and that's some what im interested in. maybe spending 7 or 8 moths living in the tipi and 4 month regrouping say down south.

Are you interested in a Missouri location? How long do you want to stay in one location? Lance's land is in a Pine Forest next to live water.

peace just to let everone know im not using anything that hurts the environment  or enjures the trees.  this is what im trying to do. I feel at home in a tipi and that's what I have in mind for spring summer and fall. im trying to make the tipi portable and be above the ground. im thinking 16 foot 2x4 for poles and ropes to anker. im not sure what to use for the floor. it has to fit on a 4 x 16 ft trailer and not to heavy. any help peace
