Signs of the Times- They Really Are A-Changin'

Time to share our perceptions, theories, and indicators of what's changing when, where, how, and why...

But please, please no fearmongering, no unsubstantiated rumors a la YouTube.

Of course no one can know for sure, but please do your due diligence, and let's attempt to stay focused on what seems valid.

This is best watched in full screen.

Otherwise some of it will be hard to follow.

Here's the sequel to Hopi Prophecies- it took me a few days to find out how to post the video too long for YouTube, but here it is.

Be aware I don't buy into all of the conclusions drawn in this video- my notes are in yellow. If there were really already a brown dwarf star inside our solar system we would be experiencing much more severe effects than 6+ and 7+ magnitude quakes.

If you've not yet watched the video above, please watch it first.

This is the final chapter of a 12-part movie

which starts with What a Way to Go – Part 1

Seems to me this sums it all up pretty well...

Biblical Prophesy

Well, during the end times we will be having lots of earthquakes (check - just look at Oklahoma?!). Also, we've had several blood red moons and blood red tides (all apart of Biblical prophesy). I'm just biding my time. I think that love and Christ…Continue

I'm a lousy prognosticator and the fact I'm posting this shouldn't be taken by anyone as carrying any more weight of validity that it would coming from anyone else who hasn't demonstrated a long, successful history of predicting events. But from my…Continue

Ocean Current Vortex Garbage Patches

There's something fairly drastic going on that's becoming thoroughly documented on the ocean current vortices that might well explain what's happening with climate change better than a lot of other hypotheses.  Plastics being washed off the land…Continue

If what's coming down the pike turns out not to be a smiley face and humanity getting raptured into the oft-stated utopian bliss, 2012 might offer some alternative surprises.  Among the possibilities is one that includes a lot of people wanting to…Continue

Oracles and the changing times

We're none of us all that wise, including those of us who believe we are and devote energies to explaining how wise we are to others.  That process of explaining often takes the form of predictions involving generalities and future events.  But the…Continue

Here's the military survival manual I've been threatening to make available.Apparently it was issued to airmen, dunno what war or how current it is. But there's a ton of good globally relevant stuff in it, including SURVIVAL USE OF PLANTS- the good…Continue

Tryin' to think of a positive light to spin this website... but I can't.  Just think my family should know the truth as far as we humans, thru scientists, can glean it.   Sure, only a few are doomsayers; but that number is growing and this PHD Emeritus explains why.  He's following the signposts (he is calling tipping points) and updating his website when changes occur.   http://guymcpherson.com/2013/01/climate-change-summary-and-update/

I see a hard rain beginning to fall indeed, I have been on the planet awhile now and I have noticed some definite changes and not for the better. I am working toward self reliance  from the land and preparing a place now, while I am yet able.

I am seeing that a lot more people are catching on and loving to buy locally rather than support corporate stores that support foreign economies. It's great because we are in control of our own destiny and people are embracing it.

The second course-A never discussed (perhaps ignored for some reason) global(?) disruption of cultures about 3300 years ago:

From a conference organized by the schools of archaeology
and classics at university college Dublin

Interestingly, scholars of previous generations, notably Michael Grant and Moses Finley, and later Robert Drews, attempted to place the Mediterranean events within a much broader, even global perspective, citing large-scale migratory movements of peoples within Europe, and beyond. At the time when such interesting claims were made, the political realities of the contemporary world made it difficult to research the archaeology of eastern Europe and western Asia. Additionally the reaction against  diffusionist theories of cultural change made archaeologists wary of global explanations, and encouraged regional and cultural specialization, which in turn mitigated against dialogue between archaeologists who specialized in particular areas.
Few Mediterranaen archaeologists knew what colleagues in Northern Europe were finding and vice versa. This is surprising, because just as Mediterranean archaeologists were struggling to understand the Sea Peoples’ movements
around 1200 BC, so too were Northern European, and especially Irish, archaeologists stuggling with the archaeology of another iconic event on the edge of history and legend, the Coming of the Celts, also attributed to the
period around 1200 BC.

A bit of interesting archeological history that opens more questions than it answers:
