ReWild Yourself: Ancestral Skills for Reversing Human Domestication

Rewilding is about overcoming human domestication and returning to behavior inherent in human wildness. Though often associated with primitive skills and learning knowledge of wild plants and animals, it emphasizes the development of the senses and fostering deepening personal relationships with members of other species and the natural world. Rewilding intends to create permanently wild human cultures beyond domestication.

I am interested in the concept of undomesticating the self. My family believed in a similar path in which we disconnected ourselves from the system and begin to use ancestral skills to survive both spiritually and physically. We were healers, mystics, and used spiritual abilities as well as natural to maintain and thrive. We are agrarian in nature and spirit and guardians of the earth and all creatures upon it.
