Just hoping everyone has a few words to share about the past year and what they feel is overlooking us for the future New Year.  I think there is a lot more disassociation with people wanting to be…Continue

Looks like there are 72 members to this group?  Well, I did not make it to the Ava Rainbow thing. And, I saw no report here about it. How did it go? We at Ozark Dawn Community are making quite a bit of progress to off-grid living, even past two weeks!  Glad you love N. Carolina! It's great to live close to nature. We had a refreshing rain last night.

My favorite place is right here in Lake Lure/ chimney Rock North Carolina... From the moment I saw it I was in love and had to be here... The Mountains, the Broad River, The Lake new found private swimming holes, and of course my new Evermoore!

Agreed. I've read some hints of strange changes happening to Pacific sea life.

Yeah Jules, you are very right.

Might be a good time to curtail eating fish coming out of the Pacific Ocean.  Those damaged Japanese nukes dumping their radioactive cooling water into the north Pacific to keep them from exploding probably have everything from tuna to halibut to salmon spawing two-headed progeny.  Any migratory species of fish might be worth hitting with a geiger counter before taking it up to the cashier.

Yea Viet Nam was such a farce, and my first husband was a medic in it...bad place to be :(  I just got out of the garden and planting Three Sisters this weekend. :)  Hoping to catch some Blue Gill for my Acroponics  too.  Hope you all have a great weekend.

Well, I have always been a political animal, from the VietNam days, to Native Rights/Issues, Homeless Issues, GMO's, etc. So you have come to the right place Jill   :)

I am more positive lately, although more political and not by choice. :(
I am more in tune with my garden-by choice-not by feeling I have to.
I have resigned myself to having less to worry about, and more to be happy over. I hope you will all keep us in your thoughts and for us to have bounty as we will you.  Momma Jill.... and for anyone in OH-IN-KY area, friend me so we can contact each other.  THANKS Two Birds, great question.
